Calistoga Ranch

Situated on a genetly rolling, oak studded property above the small town of Calistoga, this barn inspired home was designed as a wine country getaway. The surrounding outdoor spaces compliment the intimately scaled interiors, providing an sense of expansiveness, while gently unfolding to the surrounding environs. The arrival experience was strategically located to engage a mature grove of sculptural madrone trees, which give way to this small compound of buildings. A stone guest house and main house, married by a covered dining court and concrete runnel, are anchored by mature oaks and a olive orchard that overlook the pool and meadow terrace below.
